Work it out!

I decided to work out today... it felt great. I hadn't been in awhile and I actually didn't die and got 2 miles in and a mile on the bike! Go Me! Me and Jon are trying to get back in shape, it's harder than it looks. No sodas means no caffeine, but I have to say I've survived almost 2 weeks and I'm holding up. First week was hard, I had a headache every day.But its really paid off, I've lost about 5 lbs and i think Jon has lost about the same.



Other things in life, we've so far have had a busy summer! Between work and summer fun there has been no time for rest. We have had something going on every weekend, I love it, but it is exhausting some times. This weekend is the 4th and can't wait to get out to the lake. Last weekend we traveled to Lufkin to see my best friend for her baby shower. The weekend before that was fathers day and we spent it camping (what Jon wanted to do). The weekend before that we both had family reunions and I could go on forever. After the 4th we have a vacation with Jon's family, I still want to go float the river, I want to do a family vacation and take Kyson somewhere and the we may do something for my birthday and the list just goes on and on. Before I know it it will be Kyson 3rd bday and Christmas. Life need to slow down.



Speaking of Kyson 3rd bday, WOW 3, I can't believe that is coming up. Its still a few months away, but like i said it will be here before I know it. I'm sure we will have cars birthday party or sponge bob, Lord help me lol. If I have to see one more sponge bob episode I may strangle that little yellow things. Now cars I actually like that, doesn't drive me too crazy.



On the car note, Kyson loves cars and trucks. Him and his daddy (well more his daddy) have a project, a GO KART! Jon can't wait to finish building it (not sure when he will have time) and him and Kyson can go race. I'm sure at the end of the day it will be more Jon's go Kart than Kyson, I think he enjoys acting like a kid again :)

It's Tuesday and I'm going to start keeping everyone updated with this. I'll post something later, but house work is calling :(

June 2009

So... I haven't updated in awhile sorry! Kyson has done so much these past few weeks, he started scooting, then now he is a crawling machine lol. He can also pull up on stuff and stand, it makes me nervous. Then he got a third tooth in this last week. He likes to play with all his big boy toys now and can entertain himself, he has also discovered he can stand up in his bed and he thinks he is bigger then he is. We have also been swimming in the big pool for the first time. I don't think he knew what to think of it, he just sat in his float and never smiled, but he nevere cried either. We have moved up to sitting in the bath tub like a big boy, he loves it. He likes to crawl around in the bath and then he gets his face in the water and he doesn't know what to do lol.

New stuff

So Kyson is getting so big and smart. He can now put his pacifier back in his mouth at night if he wakes up and puts him self back to sleep. He has also been trying all sorts if new things. He has had him a sno cone and loved it, he likes popsicles, if you take it away he throws a fit lol. Then has tried rice and sweet tea. There is nothing he won't try and most of the times love anything you put in his mouth. He also had him a baby cookie and made the biggest mess, but he had fun doing it. I have new pics to put up and will try this week.

6 month check-up

Kyson is 6 months old today, it has gone by too fast. Well he went for his check up this morning and he weighed a big ole 14.5 lbs. lol. and his 26.5 inches long. He is in the 10 % for his weight and average for his height. The doc said he would probably be long and skinny. He had to get three shots and blood taken :( He was not happy about any of it and let them all know.

Sitting Up

So Kyson has been trying to sit up, he can while your holding his fingers. Well today he sat up for maybe 10 seconds all by himself. I don't think he knew he was doing it, but he did :)

Update

So I figured a few things out on here. I put some pictures up of the past couple of months. There are his first time eating cereal, his first time in his exersaucer, him and peanut (his jumpy horse), and others.
